Good News!
In the GCE “O” Level Chinese exam held from June to July 2024, students from our center achieved a 100% pass rate, with over 80% of students attaining grades of “B3” or higher. Even more impressively, over 60% of students achieved the outstanding grade of “A1” in Chinese. We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to all of them! These excellent results are the best Teachers’ Day gift for our teachers!

Aahisha 和 Anvisha 是一对可爱的印度双胞胎小姐妹，她们于2022年读小一的时候来到杨老师教育中心补习华文，我们根据她们的具体情况，针对性地帮她们打好华文基础，为以后的进步提供了有力的保证，她们的华文进步很快。2024年，她们在小学三年级时，双双在学校被选中读高级华文，她们对学习华文有浓厚的兴趣和信心。在学校2024年尾的三年级华文考试中，妹妹的华文考到93分，姐姐的华文考到87分，我们为她们的进步感到高兴，并祝她们在今后的学习中各科都取得优异成绩！
美萱,2021年10月来到杨老师教育中心学习华文，为2022年1月进入小一做准备，美萱对杨老师的华文课程有浓厚的兴趣，学习认真、努力，成绩一直都很优秀……2024年美萱读小学三年级，在2024年尾的华文考试中，Paper 2 得到100分，Paper 1、口试和听力都是满分，祝她继续努力，保持好成绩！
滢慈,2021年尾加入杨老师教育中心补习华文，……2024年已经读小学四年级的她学习成绩一直很好，2024年年初开始上作文补习班，在2024年尾的考试中，作文得到满分，可惜其他考试因生病未能参加。
普锐,一名印度男孩，来杨老师中心补习华文的时候，他在政府学校刚开始读小四。普锐完全没有学过华文，华文是零基础。我们针对他的情况，从K1和P1同时开始，老师教的认真有趣，调动了孩子的兴趣，渐渐培养了孩子的信心……在普锐上小六时，我们已经帮他追到了小六的华文课程，普锐学习努力，态度认真，并积极配合老师的教学，在小六离校会考中，普锐的华文成绩拿到了“A”，短短两年多时间，从零基础到PSLE华文“A”，不可谓不是一个奇迹！祝贺他！

In 2024, we continued to achieve remarkable success in Chinese language teaching!
We have always adhered to our teaching principles:
- 1.Solidly strengthen the students’ foundation in Chinese, improving their Chinese language results.
- 2.Cultivate students’ interest and confidence in learning Chinese.
- 3.Insist on small class sizes to enhance targeted teaching, where teachers closely monitor the learning progress of each student.
Nothing makes us happier than seeing students make progress! Yang Education Center, which has been established for 20 years, continues to work diligently and effectively in Chinese language education.
Aahisha and Anvisha are adorable Indian twin sisters. They attended Yang Education Center for Chinese tuition in 2022 when they were in Primary 1. Based on their specific situation, we tailored our lessons to strengthen their Chinese foundation, ensuring strong progress in the future. Their Chinese language improvement has been remarkable. In 2024, as Primary 3 students, both were selected by their school to take Higher Chinese. They have developed a strong interest and confidence in learning Chinese. In the Primary 3 Chinese exam at the end of 2024, the younger sister scored 93 points, and the elder sister scored 87 points. We are very happy for their progress and wish them continued success in all their future studies!
Mei Xuan joined the Yang Education Center in October 2021 to prepare for Primary 1 in January 2022. She has always shown a strong interest in our Chinese courses, and her hard work has consistently earned her excellent results. In 2024, when Meixuan was in Primary 3, she achieved full marks in Paper 2, with perfect scores in Paper 1, Oral, and Listening in the year-end exams. We wish her to continue her efforts and maintain her outstanding results!
Ying Ci joined the Yang Education Center for Chinese tution at the end of 2021. By 2024, she was in Primary 4 and had maintained good academic performance. She started attending a composition tuition class in early 2024, and in the year-end exam, she scored full marks in composition. Unfortunately, she could not participate in the other exams due to illness.
Puri, an Indian boy, joined Yang Education Center when he just started Primary 4. He had no prior knowledge of Chinese and was starting from scratch. We customized our lessons to suit his needs, starting from K1 and Primary 1 levels. The lessons were engaging and fun, sparking his interest and gradually building his confidence. By the time Puri reached Primary 6, we had helped him catch up with the Primary 6 Chinese curriculum. Puri worked hard, had a serious attitude, and actively cooperated with the teacher. In the PSLE, he achieved an “A” in Chinese. From zero knowledge to an “A” in the PSLE Chinese exam in just over two years, this is nothing short of a miracle! Congratulations to him!

“My child excels in all subjects except Chinese. He was not interested in learning Chinese and found it very difficult. He didn’t want to study Chinese at all. But after attending Chinese tutoring at Yang Education Center, my child gradually stopped resisting Chinese. Now, he even reviews Chinese and practices dictation at home on his own. 杨老师教育中心2023年“O”水准会考-高级华文成绩
本中心学生在2023年11月7日的“O”水准会考中，高级华文成绩取得100%及格率，再一次保持了历年来的100%及格率，其中100%取得B3及以上的成绩，取得A1、A2成绩的学生达到60%以上。

Yang Education Center 2023 “O” Level Examination – Higher Chinese Results
Our students achieved a 100% pass rate in the Higher Chinese subject during the “O” Level Examination held on November 7, 2023, maintaining our historical 100% pass rate. Among these, 100% achieved grades of B3 and above, with over 60% of the students securing grades A1 or A2.
We are grateful for the hard work and dedication of all our teachers, the efforts of our students, and the support from their parents.

Dear Parents,
Due to the Ministry of Health (MOH) notice released on 24 March 2020 that all centre-based tuition and enrichment classes be suspended to reduce the intermingling of students from different schools, our centre is temporarily closed from 26 March 2020 to 30 April 2020. During this time we will conduct a thorough cleaning and sanitisation of the premise in preparation for re-opening. We hope that everyone stay healthy and protect ourselves amidst COVID-19.

Dear Parents
[MOE Advisory] Precautionary Measures in Private Schools in Response to Covid-19
The Ministry of Education (MOE) had earlier advised students, parents and staff to review their travel plans and refrain from travel overseas, in line with travel advisories from the Ministry of Health (MOH). In view of the heightened risk of importation of COVID-19 cases into Singapore, MOH had announced on 18 March 2020 that a 14-day Stay Home Notice (SHN) will be issued to returning Singapore Residents, Long Term Pass holders, and short term visitors from all countries, with effect from 20 Mar 2359hrs.
MOE had further announced on 19 March 2020 that schools, kindergartens and preschools will open after the March holidays on 23 March 2020. To ensure that schools continue to be a safe environment for students and staff, all students and staff of schools, preschools and student care centres who have been out of Singapore on or after 14 March will be issued a 14-day Leave of Absence (LOA). Day zero of the 14 days will commence from the date of their return to Singapore. Affected students and staff must stay away from the school and preschool for the duration of their LOA.
Enhanced hygiene and additional precautionary measures will also be put in place at schools. This includes a thorough cleaning of schools over the March holidays, as well as additional precautionary measures like fixed exam-style seating for some groups of students, and wipe-down routines in classrooms. *Private schools are strongly advised to take reference from these measures. Students and staff who are placed on LOA from the mainstream schools, or who are placed on SHN, should not attend class at the private school during the LOA or SHN period, and should only return to class after completion of the LOA or SHN.

[MOE Advisory] Precautionary Measures in Private Schools in Response to 2019 nCoV
The Ministry of Education (MOE) has advised the implementation of the following measures for private schools.
- All staff and students are advised to avoid travel to Hubei province in China and defer all non-essential travel to the rest of mainland China.
- All students and staff are required to submit a travel declaration form during this period (whether you travelled or plan to travel during this period, and where to)
- All students and staff who have returned from any part of mainland China are required to monitor and take temperature daily during the 14-day period from the day of arrival in Singapore. Those who are unwell should visit a doctor immediately and declare your travel history. If you have a fever or respiratory symptoms (e.g. cough, runny nose, shortness of breath), you should wear a surgical mask and call the clinic ahead of your visit.
- Students who are on the 14-day LOA from the mainstream schools should not attend class at the private school during the LOA period, and should only return to class after the 14 days.
- All staff and students are reminded to adopt good personal hygiene practices, ensure good environmental hygiene, and monitor health and seek medical attention promptly if unwell.

“谢谢老师，是你们让我的孩子对华文产生了兴趣，我做梦都没想到他（她）会取得华文“A*”的成绩!” “幸好华文救了他（她），让他的总分能达到理想中学的分数线，帮他（她）圆梦！”“真没想到，他（她）的华文成绩是各学科中最好的，谢谢老师的教导！”“谢谢！”“谢谢！”……，太多太多家长感激的话语，是对忙碌了一年的我们最好的回报，我们倍感欣慰，也是对我们最有力的鞭策！
像往年一样，在2018 年的小六离校会考中，我们又取得95%的考生考获华文A或A*的优异成绩。其中包括一些英文背景的学生却只取得华文单科“A” ！一些学习能力较弱的学生取得华文最高的成绩，帮助他们顺利升上中学。
这样的成绩充分证明并实现了我们的理念—-不放弃每一位学生。正是因为这样的理念，我们才能在平凡的工作中创造出了这样不平凡的成绩。
在接下来的一年里，我们会用加倍的努力来回报家长和同学们，像对待自己的孩子一样关心、照顾每一位学生，让家长“送得放心”，学生“学得用心”。
We have continuously, for the 18th year, achieved more than 95% PSLE students scoring A or A* for Chinese Language.
We are pleased to announce that this year, we have 95% students scoring A or A* in their Chinese language, including some students from non-Chinese backgrounds scoring their only A in Chinese Language. Some students with weak learning ability have achieved the highest scores in Chinese and helped them to go to secondary school smoothly.This proves and realizes our motto —never give up on any student. It is because of this philosophy that we can create such extraordinary achievements in ordinary work.

Year 2015 PSLE
本中心已连续16年在小六离校会考中，95%以上的考生华文取得A或A*的优异成绩。最令人欣慰的是今年的优秀率（华文A或A*）达96% ，其中包括一些英文背景的学生只取得华文单科“A” ！
